I have no problem running it...I just don't want to step on toes, as I'm relatively new here.

I suggest that we only start posting swap statistics for this previous month. If you did a swap in August, feel free to fill out the survey.

As for "known" flakers, don't post anyone from past swaps (other than August) Especially if they were not your partner and you just heard about them flaking. It might not be fair if, say, they got to together outside the swap board and came up with other plans.

I don't that's a problem, I mean you know how swaps work and all and no one else volunteered. So I guess we're just waiting on the thread to start after possibly more suggestions are presented.

Ok, this is what I've come up with. I'll let you all get a look and add things or take away things before I post the actual thread. I'll post it under Swap Shop as "Swap Guidelines and Survey" (or whatever)

Ok, My first post:

Swapper’s Guide:
Read this first before joining in on a swap!

Tips to remember:
*Always keep in communication with your partner. Don’t assume that your partner isn’t as busy as you are! None of us can afford to have our time wasted by partners who don’t keep in contact!
*Before sending out a package, contact your partner to let them know you’re shipping out. Allow them 3 or 4 days to respond. If you hear nothing from them, DON”T SHIP OUT!
*Keep aware of how many swaps you have decided to join, and keep a written record of the swap, any deadlines or swap rules, and your partner’s name. Post this list somewhere where you’ll have a daily reminder of it. Don’t join a swap and forget about it!
*Be considerate of your partner.
-take your time and do your best work
-if the items you receive do not meet your standard, please consider your partner’s skill level before commenting on the quality. Take in consideration that your comments can be either uplifting or encouraging or potentially heart breaking. Try not to hurt feelings. You don’t want to be the reason someone never crafts again. 
-If there is a problem with a swap, or your partner, please send them a personal message to resolve the situation. Try not to clutter the swap boards with negativity. It could cause new members to not join in.

*If you are partnered with a “flaker” (one who does not complete a swap) you may use this swap survey to record your experience. Please don’t bash these people publicly, as you may never know a reason a person has flaked out. Just be aware of who is listed as a “flaker” before confirming your partner for the next swap you attempt.

My second post:

Swap Survey:
This is a list of members who, for whatever reason, did not complete a swap they signed up for. Hosts, when preparing partners for your swaps, please check this board and be conscientious of the partners you pair up.

Sometimes “flakers” are unable to complete their swaps for legitimate reasons. If you find yourself on this list, please contact your partner and request to set things right. If you and your partner can both agree on how to satisfactory complete the swap, and your partner is pleased with the results, your name will be removed from this list and you will be free to participate in swaps again.

If you are the partner of a “flaker” who has made things right with you, please comment, or send a personal message to me so that I can remove her name from the list.

*Please note, when completing this survey, try to be nice. If you had an unpleasant experience, contact your partner to allow them to rectify the situation BEFORE flaming them on this board.

Copy and past this survey after completing any swap. (not just for flakers, GREAT partners are welcomed here as well)

I just re-read this and noticed quite a few grammatical errors, and such.

Don't worry, I'll fix those before the actual post is made. ;)

Thanks guys for the support. (and to everyone for accepting me so readily and without question) It feels good to be apart of something like this. And I don't mean calling out flakers.

I don't know. It's nice to be part of a community where everyone's ideas and crafts are precious, no matter if it's your own personal style or not.

I've got chilly-bumps thinking about how much I love this site.

xoxo's to Cat and Tom.

Oh yeah. I'll write up the final copy and post it in the morning. I guess I can always go back and add things if anyone feels we need an addition.

Creative mind - I've gotten over it but you can't seem to drop it and I continue to get messages from others over what your talking about, and you say that you haven't mentioned me specifically but people have commented to me over what your saying and everyone reads these forums. Its not hard to figure out what your talking about after you posted all over the Pokemon swap. Its not immature to be mad that someone is being rude over something that happened months ago. You've been publicly putting me down since then and I'm sick of it. I was extremely polite over it, didn't complain with the stuff you sent, sent you an email instead of posting on the forums, and you keep bringing it.

I've been nothing but mature about it, and I've asked you to stop, which you can't seem to do. This is the last time I'm going to comment on this, lets please move on.

Creative, i found the site, but with it being not used it went into their archive base, so i made a similar one. Let me know what needs to be worked on.

I would only add a part about if you swap international,be sure you wait enough time before calling someone a flaker,be more patient or something like that.

Ok. I've made the post. I filed it under Swap Shop. I figured that made more sense.

Anyway, I can edit in anyway needed. Ya'll just let me know if you come up with new ideas. Thanks to all the "helpers", which I prefer to call Partners. ;)
