getting my first tattoo tomorrow

did you design that? really neat. just don't take any pain meds tonight or tomorrow beforehand because they thin out your blood and you bleed a lot when you get tattooed.

I though small too, like that for actuall size and I will only take my normal meds. Kinda scared though...I don't know if I want wrist or neck

Nape of neck! That would look kick butt on the nape of your neck. It doesn't hurt that bad. It kind of goes dull. And some parts actually feels kind of good! LOL

I vote for the nape of the neck too. It would look great there.

I like the nape too ...ive never had it done there, but i know for a fact that my wrist hurt like a mo-fo. And it was my first tattoo lol XD. It hurts most there cuz it constantly moves & theres lots of veins there. ...ur neck might too tho when u bend, so i dont know.

I'd also suggest eating/drinking beforehand. Because this girl in the waiting room fainted in the heat the last time i was in the tattoo shop. It was awful. So plenty of fluids. lol
I'd suggest going a lil bigger too, so itll show up more. Simple things like that look better bigger.
It hurts, but you'll love it once its done. Good Luck! (dont become addicted like me. XD )

Been staring at your design - at first it just seemed like a random design but now I see it's a turtle!! Very cool!

No it won't hurt badly and if it gets too much just ask your tattooist to stop and give you a moment. Nape of the neck sounds great though! Can you hide it under your collar if need be?

Heather is right though, no pain medication and no alchohol tonight. It won't hurt if you bleed more but it might take a bit longer.

It's not that bad, Michelle. I've got three and I'm a huge baby and I didn't cry or anything! I have one on my wrist that didn't hurt at all, but I think this one would look best on the nape of you neck. Don't chicken out, you'll do fine!

Awesome design Michelle! And I vote for the nape of the neck too!it will look awesome! And dont worry about the pain,but be careful when you go out on the sun!If the sun touches your tattoo,it will feel like someone just burned your skin with a cigarette.So be sure to cover it up with something before going out!

yea i agree with maybe getting it a little bigger if you go with the nape of your neck. i have a tat on my back and it sort of felt like a cat was scratching me over and over and over.... I was in the chair for 1 hr and it was no biggie. after it was done i was like- yay can't wait to get another one! but i haven't yet....
