Do you wear glasses?

I've had to wear glasses since I was 12, but I was never really good at wearing them. I mostly wear contacts. The only time I wear my glasses are at night, before bed or if I'm sick.

I like contacts better because I get to wear any type of sunglasses, they don't steam up when I go into a warm room or open the oven and my eyes don't water when I cut an onion, as long as I have them in.

I just found out I have cataracts in both eyes. One eye is a little worse than the other o.O
My glasses cost about $70 for 2 pairs.

I have to wear glasses, im short sighted and pretty much am supposed to wear my glasses most of the time, I dont always pick them up when im getting ready for work at 5 in the morning lol. Without my glasses i can see clearly about an arms length and then it gets progressively blurrier.

I found geeky glasses which I love suit me better than thin framed ones. I probably should have a new pair I've had mine ages.

I buy my glasses now from Zennioptical.com. The last two pairs I've purchased only cost 9 bucks including lenses and were fantastic! Now, if only I could find an equally cost effective eye exam. Ha!

I've had my black/white glasses for 2 years now so I have to get my eyes tested again. I've been shopping around for a new pair of frames but I've had no luck. Nothing fits right! Everything looks too small or not wide enough or is in a bad colour. I think I might just stick with my current frames and get new lenses but I love getting new frames Happy I think I'm going to have to go to a big city to find some cool frames... Ottawa and Montreal are only an hour away so I should have some luck there.

If anyone here is from Ottawa or Montreal please share with me the names of some good stores Happy

I have to wear glasses for small and close up, and the last ones I got are not very good..next time i will go some where else.with insurance they cost 79 dollars for an exame , frames an glasses, that would have cost 400.
I have new insurance so going to see what new ones will cost.I hate the ones I got last year.Im older and dont wear them out, so Im not interested in the frames so much..lol.Just how good the lens are ..
My daughter on the other hand is interested in both, and has to wear hers all the time.I have a very large computer screen so I dont have to wear my glasses for that.Im very thankful to the Lord I dont have to wear them all the time, but I do keep losing
they 2 pair I do have and a pair of the ones from the dollar store to magnify .

I damaged the glasses I have so I need a new pair. Last weekend I've been to the optician to get my eyes tested and buy some new glasses. I got lucky because I got a coupon in the mail for €50,- discount on the frame and my health insurance pays €100,- so in the end I only paid €144,- while I calculated €220,- for it.

This one I bought. They will call me when he's ready.

I'm thinking of getting laser eye surgery. I've had glasses since I was 8 (im 21 now) and my current glasses are hurting my nose and giving me headaches Happy
I also have contact lenses when going out so i can wear sunglasses and not have glasses knocked off my face by animals at college (first got them to stop people bullying me about wearing glasses)
to be honest I'm absolutley fed up of glasses and contact lenses and would love a life without them. the cost of laser eye surgery would probably pay for itself in a couple of years if it all went ok. contact lenses cost about £25 a month i think for daily ones.
