Oh god I can't handle presents unless I'm giving something to them. I'm honestly dreading my birthday. Is that weird?

I always get so excited about giving and recieving presents that i toss and turn all night long on the night befor christmas. Then we open presents early on christmas morning and take our time and most of the time we finish at about 12 and then I try to take a nap on the couch.

Since my boyfriend and I started living together, we have always opened one pressie xmas eve and since we have lived in Iceland, we follow their tradition of the jolasveinar(christmas lads) who come down from the mountains 12 nights before xmas eve(which is when they celebrate xmas and open their pressies) so for every morning for 12 mornings before xmas we get a small pressie in our shoe Happy just sweets and stuff, my boyf is 31 and I'm 27 and we still get up around 9am xmas morn Happy weeeeee

Aww that sounds like a sweet little tradition, it'd be nice getting a little present everyday.

I always end up having a nap after the present opening too.
