What I learned today...

You know that saying that you learn something new everyday? What did you learn today?

I finally learned how to ride a bike! With help from my bf... a lot of help. lol So I can't turn, get on, get off, and have great control of speed yet. Meh, I'll get it eventually. XD

Congrats on learning to ride a bike!
I've (so far) learned how to say Happy St David's Day in Welsh - Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus! and that St David has his own flag, it's black with a yellow cross, kinda similar to the Cornish flag.
I love learning stuff=)

I learnt two things today. One of them academic and one not.
The one academic thing I learnt was how to do a Stakeholder Analysis and a Cause and Effect Diagram for my next bit of Consultancy Skills courswork.
The non academic thing I've learnt, well I guess I've known it for some while, but its come suddenly into realisation today is that, I really hate my two Uni friends. They just do my nut in!!

I learned that some kinds of glue will bleach the ink from papers printed on an inkjet printer *sigh*. Still, I get to do experiments now with glue, which is always fun.

Research is actually useful! I've made it to university doing hardly any research and still doing well, but finding it stressful. Turns out that if I just spend a day or two reading through books and getting good quotes, I can reel off an essay fairly quickly. Up to about 1300 words, in about 2/3 hours (and that's with distractions as well, not just solid writing). So more than half way done. I need to get to at least 1500 today, hopefully 2000. If I can finish the whole thing today it'll be a HUGE weight off.
