Wedding help!!
Okay - here is the pic!
that looks nice, are you going to make some?
and I can see Sug as a planner
Yes, going to make 12 of these so I'll need about 240 flowers, that means I need to cut out 720 circles! Am nearly halfway with the cutting!!
awesome
I love the wreath Tracy they'd also look nice on the tables with candles in the middle..
here is a wreath in progress - I still need to add ribbon to the inner and outer rim and I may add some extra beads here and there as space fillers. I've made 9 so far, still 3 to go!
And I wanted to make new invites (as I don't like the old ones). Was at the store with invite supplies in my hand when I saw this --->
and seeing that I already had silver envies - I thought, why not!?
The envies!
we got alot of really great stuff for our wedding at the dollar store, wal-mart and target. I know it sounds super cheesey but check them out i was shocked!
The wreath is looking amazing, I may give them a go too. And I love the invites, I still haven't done mine yet...Glad to see you're getting back into the swing of things with the wedding planning, it does get overwhelming sometimes..
Thanks Craftilicious! I made different sized flowers and I used white and cream. Two-tone colors gives it a bit of depth. If only we had a wal-mart and target in South Africa... lol
UPDATE: MADE THIS BUT WONT BE USING IT FOR THE WEDDING ANYMORE!
I am now addicted to making paper flowers!! I bought a sheet of polystyrene and cut out my fiance's name, painted the letters in 'shimmering rose' and added paper flowers! Going to put his name and mine up somewhere at our reception!
What do you guys think? Honestly!! Am I losing the plot?!
You're doing just fine! I like coming back here to see if you added more pics of projects you are working on
me too, I love the flowers
Thanks guys!
UPDATE: MADE THIS BUT WONT BE USING IT FOR THE WEDDING ANYMORE!
I'm working on the center pieces for the tables. I watched a show on TV the other day in which they decoupaged rocks which they turned into a little water fountain. Anyway I liked the idea of taking something plain and changing it into something nice, so I picked up some rocks and they now look like this:
and then I cut and painted some polystyrene and glued the blocks together:
and then I put the 2 together:
I might add some beads to the polystyrene blocks. With some tea lights and some nice voile I think I just might have some beautiful center pieces!!!
