I don't blame you, when you go out there must be things tempting you!!

I think I might be able to, but only because I just had an AMAZING haul at Frenchy's! I think I've got enough new-to-me clothes to last me a year. And with some of the ideas I've gotten from this site, I should be able to transform some of the clothes that are packed away in my closet to make even more "new" stuff!

I haven't bought anything new in a month or so, but I usually only buy clothes new once a year. I think I could go a whole year without buying new clothes.

You've got to be pretty disciplined to buy stuff once a year. I've gone a couple of months without buying anything new and I usually only buy new stuff a few times a year but I agree with Michelle. Its hard.

I think at this point I definitely could go without shopping for a year....Im going to start that today Happy I would love to blog about it, see how it goes. It will definitely be tough though, with this being my last year in Toronto....and a big trip from Japan to Scotland coming up...but it would be an awesome way to save money, and see how far my crafting skills can take me Happy

This site definatly inspires making old clothing into *new* stuff, I have so many skirts that I bought one hot summer about 2 years ago and haven't worn since, which will now be cut to size and made into Tutu's WOO HOO. It would definatly be tough to go a whole year, most I've ever gone is about 3 months maybe... but I'm going to start from today, it is hard with the sales, not only is that when you find cute cheap things, but the shops bring in new lines that may be to die for Happy

Right, I'm determined to stop clothes buying, I ought to really as I'm on a diet, no point in buying something that won't fit me in a few months time Tongue

THIS IS DAY 1

I've been finding the last couple of weeks really tough. I signed up to the Wardrobe Refashion pledge at the end of June and haven't bought anything new since the beginning of June but its weird, because I know I'm not buying anything new for 6 months I'm really craving buying something. I'm even looking in shops I'd never go in! I think its cos a lot of the times I do buy stuff its for emotional reasons and got very little to do with need. Thankfully though I have stayed strong and not given in - largely the stuff in the shops at the moment is crap and so overpriced so that helps. Happy
