I had my ears pierced...they closed up every time...I did it three times then gave up...

Also, when I was 18 I got my belly button pierced, but it tore my skin...and was uncomfortable (seeing I mostly slept on my stomach)...I ended up taking it out and it closed up...if you are thinking about doing anything radical...make sure you put A LOT of thought into it...

I did mine for a good reason...I was definately sad when I took it out...but the person who did it probably didn't do it right..that or I don't have enough fat/cartilage to keep the ring under the skin...it was tearing pretty bad...

Did it hurt? Kind of...not really...it was very itchy afterwards and you HAVE to make sure you keep it clean all the time...but without messing with it too much. Afterwards hurt more than when it happened...because I liked to sleep on my belly and I wanted to itch it..but couldn't.

I have 3 peircings on my ears. They didn't hurt. I got my tongue peirced twice. Doesn't hurt when they are doing it, but the next few days..... OWIE! I also had my eyebrow peirced. This one didn't hurt at all it actually felt good.

After I pop this kid out I am getting my lip pierced. I imagine it will be a mixture of tonguq and eyebrow. But after having a kid I'm sure it won't hurt that much at all. LOL

I have my belly button done, three conch piercings (ear), a rook piercing, an industrial piercing and an orbital that goes around the industrial. I also have my left nipple pierced and my left nostril done. I will be getting my nostril done a second time so that I have two piercings in the same nostril, and I am looking at getting two microdermal "piercings" done beside my left ear. As far as the pain goes, it really really varies. Not necessarily by body part, but even by day and piercist. I have had two different piercists mess up two of my conch piercings (both stopped halfway through, and one punched the piercing through a seriously tender bundle of nerves), but otherwise, with a good piercist I really dont find the pain that bad. I dont honestly remember if the nipple hurt that much since it was 6 years ago, and the bellybutton hardly hurt. The nostril really didnt hurt that bad, I expected it to be much much worse, but I found a great great piercist for that one, and I am going back to him for the second nostril piercing.

I've got my ear lobes pierced and one helix piercing in my left ear. The helix one didn't hurt when I was having it done, but putting the earring in hurt because it was permanently forcing all the cartilage out of the way. And someone elbowed me in the ear not long after I had it done which KILLED, and I've got a lovely lump of scar tissue on the back of my ear now Happy, but luckily it's not too noticeable.
I want to get my nostril and tongue pierced, but I don't think they'll suit me Happy

I've only got my left ear pierced. My friend has her right ear pierced, we used to share all the pairs of earrings we bought Tongue I got both ears pierced years ago but they go infected and closed up.

I also tried to get a second hole on my left ear but it stuffed up. Every single time I have had my ears pierced the gun has got stuck on me and then they had to pick and pick at my sore ear to get it off. I think I'm going to give up in getting a second hole on my left ear, but I do want it Happy

Rhibi: if you want your ears pierced again, get the done with a needle. It's less painful (so I've heard, and it makes sense seeing as it's a sharp needle going through rather than a blunt earring), it's more accurate and there's pretty much no chance of getting someone elses yucky germs/infections (such as hep A... I think it's hep A anyway, its a disease transmitted by blood and you can catch it from badly cleaned equipment if someone else's skin of blood is left on it. Needles should always be completely brand new and sterile).

I have a lump of cartilage at the top back of my ear. That was the worst piercing ever! 3 ear piercings either side and my bellybutton.

I have two in my ears and my nose pierced. My second holes keep getting infected though so I think I need to buy some hypo allerginic ear rings. My first holes are fine, it so weird. My nose ring is a pain in the ass sometimes because whenever the "tail" or the end of the stud flips out everyone thinks it is a boogger! I am always playing with it.

My piercings include a tongue ring (minimal pain, but it swelled a little), a labrette (was painful getting it done as they can't numb the outide of your lip) normal earings which I am currently stretching (the original piercings were done with a gun, which I wasn't happy about, but healed well with minimal pain), I also have a pinna piercing which hurt only due to the fact I sleep on my right side and it's on my right ear and I had a wrist piercing (no pain whatsoever, the piercer was fantastic, only issue was that it was a surface piercing so it grew out (which is not unusual for some people). Very sad day when i had to take it out! Happy

I'm planning to get a nose ring and a conch later on, the labrette will possibly go as I think I've grown out of it.

Miss Dee your face sounds awesome (that sounds so weird xP )

I only have my regular ear piercings, which I am stretching, and two cartilage piercings that I have a coil bar in (Here is a picture of another person's (not me): http://www.piercology.com/n/modules.php?set_albumName=album24&id=IMG_0130&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php except she has three which I plan to get in a few months). My earlobes (regular) hurt quite a bit because I got them done by a random hairdresser with a gun, while the cartilage didn't hurt too bad and it was done with a needle. Always get your piercings done with a needle, it costs a little more but it is safer, hurts less, and less liking to get infected.
