I'm going diving in the summer and I'm really nervous about it, I've never tried it before and I'm terrified of getting the bends! And now I'm worrying about jellyfish too... we're going to be out in open tropical water so the chances of there being jellies are probably pretty high. If I get stung I'll just get someone to pee on the sting haha.
Actually I just looked up the "urine on a jellyfish sting" thing, and some sites say "Yeah, the ammonia in urine neutralises the acid in the sting" while others say "No, the urine makes it worse as it sets off more stinging cells". I think if I get stung I'll avoid the urine thing altogether now, just to be on the safe side lol

yeh it depends on the type of jelly, jelly fish have ALWAYS freaked me out i think it's because of an episode of Baywatch. Man of War jellies aren't the most dangerous either, one type the size of a thumbnail around Austrailia is the most dangerous. We're not going in the water in Austrailia when we go.

Iz - You'll be with experts and they'll say what to do. We always go on a boat ride when we go to Spain, and we stopped in the most gorgeous water ever on one of them. I put my foot in and that's it, I was too scared lol I was 13/14 but I still wouldn't do it now I'm scared of all the things on the sea bed etc lol
