I got chocolate coins the other day & I was expecting them to be euros as usual, but they're all different currencies. there's a dollar I think & coins from other countries.

just thought I'd say. haha Happy

Ice skating and drinking peppermint hot chocolate afterwards.
Happy

I've never seen a chocolate euro before, although that makes sense seeing as I live in the states.
I have, however, seen chocolate rupees.

they should use old moneys as the design on chocolate coins...its all traditional and old like...lol

peppermint hot chocolate oo yeh! I only really go to starbucks at xmas for peppermint hot choc because I won't pay that price often for what it actually is...even though it's good lol

I love presents but i love giving presents too, I think it's a damn shame there's so much build up to it because it's one day and then blaah, although we get boxing day so that's kinda like xmas day, espeically this year because i'll get some presents on that day too (all presents used to be given the day after xmas, boxing day, here, i think, I kinda like the build up but I haven't felt very xmassy, I love that feeling on xmas day, the weather is always the same ice cold but lovely and fresh and it's all quiet. I love just piggin out with my mum lol

i dont get why people get so stressed about getting presents, i mean yeh the money and making sure you get everything but you can shop online now and if it's that bad get them earlier in the year!!!

I want to buy a goat or something this year, you know that thing you can do for oxfam, I can't always afford to but I can now so I'll sort that after xmas Happy

And how about the snow?
Snow just screams Christmas, really.
And wrapping paper. I find a certain joy in wrapping presents.
It's rather soothing.

Standing out in the rain at a christmas light turn on for ages waiting for Barry Evans, a character in a soap opera I barely even watch.

Then sneaking past security to meet him. Haaaa.

ezme...and then you go into your house and see your lights and it's all warm!?

Neighbours have theirs up now, it's really nice cuz they have those pretend icicle lights on outside too, I want some for ours, or lights that stick on windows...IT SNOWED! I've had two days off work from being ill so got to be all snug and warm, Britain can't deal with any sort of weather!!!!!!!!! It rains and I'm always late because of it and it didn't even snow that much and loads of schools were shut! mind you that was because it was more chaos then usual on the motorways cuz of an accident... I want our lights up Happy I hate tackyness though, people that put more and more light out every year until it looks so blaaah, it would help if they were all the same colour and placed in a design rather then 'I just vomitted these up when I saw it was December' and these people but them out super early too though!!!!!!!!! All the lights in town should be one colour too red or white or ice blue...it would just look classy.

Having little gatherings with friends at my house around the holidays.Maybe some Baily's in coffee or hot chocolate.Seeing the snow fall and kids on tobaggons. Our city is adorned everywhere you go with Christmas lights and on some streets practically all year round. So it's kinda hard not to feel like your in the Christmasie spirit around here.

cooking, baking, decorating, but the thing that first kicks it in is the old Christmas specials like Frosty the Snowman, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I grew up on those, and so did my kids.

but one thing that will always get the smile and that feeling is an old record called Christmas sing along with Mitch.

on the day that was the "official" decorate the house and tree day, my dad would wake us up by playing that record.
