What Makes You feel christmasie?

Well, today for work i've been making gingerbread houses for the window, to get our store ready for the holiday season. So, I've had all those Classics of christmas playing, including some from my childhood that my mom always listened to.

Burl Ives, cause i love the old cartoons for tv.
Evlis Presiley Christmas carols, cause Grandma listen to them Happy

And Luter Vandross, it was my mom would always play when she made gingerbread, and decotated the house. She loved his voice.

And i was wondering what you're christmas mood bringer is? Food? Music? Snow?

the coca cola adverts with santa... listening to old christmas songs when I'm wrapping presents... christmas movies! old classics, modern ones [I watch elf yesterday. hehe], crappy made for tv movies... lights going up in town used to make me feel christmassy, but I don't get to see them anymore... I could probably go on all day. lol Happy

Definitly santa coca cola adverts, me and my boyfriend love those! and also sofa adverts and adverts for xmas next year, those save up schemes. But nothing more then when I get used to it being dark at 5 and the xmas lights are on at home and in town Happy. We put our tree up around early december but some people do it earlier, isn't it bad luck to put it up too early? and you should take them down before 13 days after xmas or something?

I have to work xmas eve, but it will probably be quite lovely coming home, the tree, warmth, ill have some chocolate and then PREEESENTS! 4 days off Happy xmas eve is always really windy for some reason, is it only me whose noticed? there's been xmas songs on at work since I first started (3rd Nov) so bit sick of xmas songs, but I still sing along to them lol

Putting up a tree soon, not too sure when, But we since its my frist christmas without any family other than my lovely boyfriend, i am decking out my whole house with christmas stuff. I love christmas. Happy my favorite holiday (next to easter, cause easter has bunnies, if christmas had bunnies, it would be my all time favorite.)

Christmas songs....my parents and I always turn them on while putting up the tree...it's always fun! Shopping gets me in the spirit too, because I think of how much I care about everyone. I love christmas, because I get to see all my family!

My family keeps a little fake tree up on a counter top all year... we used to go out and find the biggest Christmas tree we could find and put it up, but since my sister and I are all "grown up" we decided to stick to the low maintenance option. Also I have a family of pack rats and we are trying to clean up our house so we just aren't into decorating anymore. If our house was completely empty on Christmas Eve, my parents would be ecstatic. The holidays seem to be more about food and getting together with friends and family for us, anyway.

I feel Christmasie when I start seeing lights go up around town and hearing carols everywhere. I'm definitely not a scrooge, although I boycott watching It's A Wonderful Life every year. That movie makes me sooo depressed. The poor guy gave up all his dreams! Then he just gave up and realized that he'll never achieve anything more than being his bumpkin town's savior. Furthermore, he decided to ENJOY that role which he has obviously hated for years. I just don't understand how that could possibly be a happy story.

When we put up our tree and decorate it. We make a playlist of our fave xmas songs and deck the halls Happy
Then most important we watch the Nightmare before Christmas on xmas every year!!

This year I am working the eve and XMAS DAY!!! it's gonna blow!
