LA burning

I figure that everyone has heard about the fires in LA. Does anyone have any family there, any friends? My heart is with those who have lost their homes.

wasn't it in the posh bit, where all the celebrities live? I mean yeh it's horrible to have your house burnt down but they'll easily be able to afford a new house.

yeah L.A. County is big, not so much L.A. Burning as Santa Barbra? I think. I have friends in central L.A. they are fine.

I have an uncle who lives somewhere in Los Angeles and a cousin but I haven't talked to them since I was a little girl.I hope they don't live near the fires.What is the fire sitch now that I am posting into December?Is it under control now.I don't watch much news.
