Thats gorgeous, the style is really vintage, but the fabric is insanely modern!!! Love it!

Ooo that's lovely! I think I'd prefer a fabric that wasn't crinkled though. Are you going to get it made or just look for something similar. I think you should go all out even if it takes some saving up, its a celebration after all!

So are you engaged? Congratulations!

When it comes to weddings I go all traditional and girly..I want a strapless white dress that goes sort of funnelly at the bottom but not too much and with embroidery all down it. My hair would be half up half down and the half up bit would go twisted and it would have little fake flowers in it and things, celtic princess kinda thing. I'd have simple make up and diamonds, silver and fake pearls. I want the older bridesmaids in long red satin dresses with spagetti straps and the young bridesmaid in just a cute little girl dress (she will be 6 by then!), I'm having 3 bridesmaids! I want the future Mr in one of those coats with tails, with a white or silver waistcoat with a red tie, I will have red roses and and he'll have one on his jacket, while the bridesmaids and guests will have white flowers Happy all planned out lol

Ooh congratulations! That dress looks so beautiful, and so does Jasmin's one

Haha Queenie are you engaged or is that a fantasy wedding?

Congrats, Michelle.

I've never wanted a traditional white dress, but if my bf and I decide to get married, I'm sure I'll go with something that isn't my style because I'm afraid of his family judging me. Even though we're not religious, we'll probably get married in a church since his mother is Catholic. We've talked about all sorts of scenarios, though. He liked the idea of getting married outside in a backyard setting, with just a few friends and our families there. It'd be like a barbecue party.

no I'm not engaged Happy he said we're practically engaged once though, which is true! I like designing things too...designing anything! I'm worried about my wedding being disrupted, parents are divorced! But I think people know it's not their day and if not then I'd kick them and make them leave!!! Not for several years though!

so anyway YEEEY Michelle!

Congrats Michelle! (if you are engaged haha)

I like the fact that the dress is different and not the traditional white gown. It's nice Happy

If I get married I don't want a big church wedding, I'm not religious so getting married in a church would seem wrong. I'd like a small ceremony, with just close family and friends, but then have a huge party afterwards for the reception Happy.
No idea what I'd want to wear, I haven't really given it any thought. Nothing too dressy though, not my style haha.

We wouldn't get married in a church we've both said it would be like lying to each other although there's a lovely little chapel in a village in Wales were some of my family live. But I think we'd go to Old Trafford cricket ground for the vows part and then a country manor/hall thing for the reception. His mum once started talking about weddings and said 'Oh please get married in a church! I'll pay for it if you do!' lol.
I've been watching Don't Tell The Bride, the groom is given 3 weeks and a load of money to do everything and they have all pulled it off so well and had fun things in the reception like one of those pretend buffolo things that moves and you'll gotta stay on it. It's made me think about stuff, half serious though! I think I'd have kareoke or some sort of dance instructor or like a Generation Game themed bit! Better get saving!

Throwing ideas out there for you Michelle hehe!

Me and Tim have worked out that we'll have to have two weddings haha. His mum is Christian and plays the organ in a church, so we want to have a wedding in a church so Kathy can play the organ =) but because I'm Pagan I'd want another ceremony for us in my way. We'll work it out.

We're pretty sure we're gonna get engaged next year, we've said that if we're this close by then, we might as well, but we're not gonna get married till we've had a child first and have enough money

Oh that's so pretty!

Tim made a joke the other day about how "engaged" basically means "reserved", then he stuck a Reserved sign from the pub on my head haha. But I'm making him wear a ring too.
