so, as most know I have another 6 weeks of rest. well I don't have to much to do lately, and I get really excited for the time my boyfriend gets off work. It means I can cook Dinner!
Woot! something to do...

anywho, got any yummy, delish dinner recipies, secret family, homestyle, mish mash, traditional food ideas?

Right now I am baking porkchops in a marinade of oil, herbs and onions and this goes with fanned potatoes and diced parships and carrots.

Last night was stew.

and tomorrow? who knows....

Okay, I don't remember how much, but if someone wants the actual recipe I will post it.

Sausage, polish is best. A can of saurkraut, apple juice, brown sugar and cut up apples. You can cook it in a croc pot or in the oven. It issss so delishious. It's are family favorite! I usually serve it with a salad, and greenbeans with cranberries in it.

My fav roast beef :

A roast beef ^^ lol
thyme,
rosemary
bayleaves
garlic (cloves, if you please)
Wallaa Walla Onions (or a sweet onion if you don't have Wallaa Wallaa's in your supermarket)
Beef stock *can be replaced with plain water

Stick stock in duct oven or crock pot, add everything but the beef. Let simmer for 15, than add more liquids, turn to a low heat. While that is simmering, brown beef on all sides in seprate pan (if you just using water, after you brown beef, turn heat on HIGH and through aleast a cup of water in, than put that into the stock stuff) Put beef in pot. Simmer for atleast five hours, check and add more liquid (only water after the frist 2 hours). Longer if you want, i like this meal cause if you have people eating at spreate times, but someone is home at all times, cause it can stay warm.

Quiche:

Six eggs, bit of milk, cup or so of cheese, cherry tomatoes, some onions and spinach and sausage (you can sautee those three together in butter), and everything mixed together, put into a pie crust (not the crumbly graham cracker crust, but meat pie crust) and baked. 350 or 450 for about 30-50 minutes until a knife comes out clean.

I don't really use recipes, and this one gets changed around depending on what I'm craving and what I have. It's SOOO good though. And so easy.

Mmm, stir fry. I want some now haha.

The way my mum makes hers:
Fry the meat for a couple of minutes in toasted sesame oil, add chopped carrots, red pepper, spring onions and ginger and fry for a couple more minutes, then add noodles, soy sauce and chinese 5 spice powder, and then fry until done.
