lol! you are all funny.

but yes, there really is a such thing as freezer paper, it is white with a wax type of lining. white heavy paper on one side and the other side has a waxy type of coating.

it works great for a spill/splatter catcher when you are working on crafts. a couple of sheets on the table, do you thing, make a mess, roll it up and throw it away. but news paper can also work for that.

i don't know many people who use freezer paper anymore. mainly because it really didn't give much protection in the freezer. me, anything that has to be frozen gets wrapped in reynolds plastic wrap really tightly, and then in foil. you can mark on the foil with marker (just not water based marker), and it stays well, also keeps the food protected well from freezer burn.

most of the time if i use freezerpaper it is to be a base for wrapping up a gift. plain white, add markers, or comic cut outs and glue, and you have a unique wrapping paper.

You can buy it in Hobbycraft, but it's £8.99 a roll! Is there a cheaper alternative available anywhere?
