Anyone know how to do this?

I found this hat and I want to make one, but I literally have no idea of what to search to find a pattern. Does anyone know what this type of design/stitch is called or how to do it/ have a pattern??

The brim is just rib knit, and the top looks like it was knit to mimic loom knit form (tubular, then cinched at the top).

The little orange stitches look almost like thrumming, but with really small stitches. If you search for "thrummed mitten patterns", it might be a similar effect to what you're after.

I'm honestly not sure if that method would work, but hopefully it might point towards somewhere that could give you more info!

If you are still looking for an answer, the stitch pattern is very easy. The hat is knitted in two colours, A and B:

Round 1: *k1 in A, K1 in B*
Round2: knit all in A
Round 3: *k1 in B, k1 in A*
Round 4: knit all in A

Repeat this pattern.
