I Knit Day 2008

This looks like fun for anyone living in the UK. It's a big event being held in September for knitters and crocheters, it's got exhibitions, a knit lounge!! Tickets are 14£ not too pricey.

That website actually have a store and they have a fully licenced bar!! They hold meetings Thursdays and another day I can't remember, if I lived in London I would be so there! That sounds so cool!!

Me and the boy want to go to london again, so I'll have a look see at ticket prices. But he said that if we went again he'd just pay for 1st class tickets because last time we sat on these fold up seats right next to the toilets! LIKE PEASENTS!

Edit: 125 quid for two sets of return tickets and that's just standard tickets and then we'd have to get a hotel and etc etc! Because I'd rather go on the Friday before and come back Sunday after, maybe another time Happy

Anyway- I'm bringing two computer guys with me, so if your Tom and my Tom +1 get bored of knitting they can talk about internet stuff. Last time I went to the pub with them they were discussing how to get more google hits.

Um, well tom and his friend learnt to knit which was quite fun. I spun some wool and I knit on some biiiiiig needles! It was kinda small, but still super fun! Although I guess i'd have hoped to get more for my money...
