when should i stop increasing?

im working on this hat. they said its for a 6 year old. if i wanted to make it for a baby where should i stop increasing?

I have no idea about changing patterns, but I found a few baby hats that are similar and already written for a baby.

The bottom one is made with a super bulky yarn Happy they all have pictures too if you go to the links. The middle one you have to scroll down a bit to see the baby size but it kinda looks like its made with a little bit bulky yarn. The top one is just made with regular yarn size. I would try the last one I think, because its made with a super bulky yarn and a big hook (size N, 10MM)
