Crochet patterns online that aren't for old ladies?

Can anyone suggest a good site online for cool-looking free crochet patterns? I want to try my hand at making a hat, but I don't want it to be boring. I've mostly just made a LOT of scarves and some gauntlets until now, and even my gauntlets have looked a little shabby.

If you have some time, you could go to my profile and click the link to my stumble.com page. I have over a hundred craft sites and a lot of them have to do with crocheting. It may take a while to comb through all the sites though. Just an idea!
