Hama beads

To iron on one side, or both sides?
Which do you do?
On the packets the pictures don't seem to be ironed.

When I used to do them I'd only iron on one side. The only problem is that you can still see the smooshy back bits from the front though Happy

The pictures are always just ironed enough to get the beads to stick together. If you iron them too much, they'll melt down through the little platform you stick them on.

I suppose if you iron lightly, you'd be able to iron both sides, but I gave up on using hama beads for their intended purpose a long time ago... the bright colors and glow in the dark types are just so much cooler in hemp bracelets. lol

I've always done both sides, cuz that what the instructions on mine always say, lol.

I decided to iron it on one side at first, the middle melted faster then the outside. I always used to iron on both side, but now I'm not sure. I think I will iron it on the other side too for this one as it is a keyring and I want it to be tough. And I made it facing the wrong way so the "front" is ironed.
