I made lazagna and garlic bread from scratch. It was crusty with extra garlic sauce on the side.. o gosh was it good.

So, it turns out my boyfriend is more awesome than I thought. On the weekend he made me chocolate ginger icecream. From scratch. And then he woke me up with homemade pancakes in the morning. With some of the icecream on top. And it was the best icecream I have ever had!

oy i'm hungry now! Hey do you think you can get the recipe for the ice cream?

I made something really simple. I cut up tortillas so i can make tortilla chips, salted them lightly and made some tuna with celery and tiny bits of tofu.

tortillas and tuna.... nice. Healthy too!

I'd check food network's web site. I'm a huge fan of Alton Brown, host of Good Eats. He's a big food science geek and so funny.

His chocolate ice cream recipe is here:

I can cook, but I have a stay-at-home husband so I don't do very much in the kitchen at all. We do have some things we always make together. Pizza and Calzones are the two big ones.

I, personally, could go semi-veggie, but hubby is a meat eater. He's got a working relationship with our local butcher shop - gets some great deals that way.

Those tortillas with tuna sound awesome - I'll have to try that out.

Thanks for the ice cream recipe Tina.

Mmm tortillas are so tasty, I'm always tempted to overload them which means they don't wrap so neatly.

Yes, there is always some stuff slipping through the ends of mine lol although I have been known to eat my prawn wraps with a knife and fork, how very civilised.. haha
