Cosplay

How many of you cosplay? What is your favorite that you have made? What are you planning?

As for me I mainly make costumes for my kids to cosplay. so far my favorite builds have been my Youngest's dalek and my oldest's Harley Quinn. Currently am planning a Wasp cosplay(cartoon avengers) for my youngest and a hawkgirl with movable wings for my oldest.

I'd love to get more into cosplay, the closest I've come so far is Halloween and costume parties. The last one was Alice In Wonderland themed so I made a teapot top hat.

I'd love to make a full-on Harley Quinn costume next so I can't wait to see your one.

We love cosplay but just don't always have the time or materials to put things together. The whole family did Wreck-It-Ralph for our trip to Disney. We are trying to figure out our cosplay for the convention in Orlando in the next couple of weeks. We were thinking Bob's Burgers but now I think my husband wants to be Beast (Beauty and the Beast) so I'm wondering if I need to be Belle. Here is a Princess Peach dress I made for my sisters prom.

It actually didn't take all that long. I am a pretty fast crocheter. The hat took a while because there isn't a Harley Quinn hat pattern out there like it. lots of trial and error. the coat was pretty easy i just added ruffles and the gloves were pretty easy also.

The costume is brilliant, Christine! Well done Happy

I used to love making costumes for my daughter and son, but they are all grown up now.
