We have shrinky dinks at the gift shop i work at! I'm thinking i might just be forced to get some.... they have the kit with the cotton clay, for all kinds of silly jewelry-making adventures. That's what we should do miss fairypants - (heh) - we should be shrinky dink buddies! Tongue I love that name by the way! YaY for faeries!! Happy

did you see the shrinky dink that Sug. made on her blog? I'm not sure, but i think she did it from a pic on her computer - so if we figure out how she did that maybe you could make your own faerie ones! that would be cool! Happy

I know how! You make them from special paper you draw on then put in the oven and it shrinks and goes hard and durable.

I want to do more knitting and quilting, it's fun!
I've recently been doing chicken scratch embroidery and it's SO pretty. It's a bit time consuming, I was nearly dying from forcing myself to stay up late to do it last night but it's great!

I've always wanted to learn tatting....and I'd like to try quilting with blocks and patterns instead of patchwork. I've tried again and again to learn how to knit, but there's just something about working with 2 needles instead of 1 hook that I'm unable to grasp.

my mum just bought all these glass bottles with sparkling orange juice in and I explained that I wanted to keep the caps to use resin in (i had a coca cola cap before but it was all bent so didnt save it!) and just explained resin to her when she said that she used to have this 'game' with all the things in it she could use to make resin things with she said how much she loved it too! Happy just thought i'd share!

I tried screen printing at college, I can't imagine trying to do it at home, soo much mess! It would be easier with a stencil and just dabbing on fabric paint.

I want to make something from scratch. I always do altering and reconstruction. But I would love to know that I made something from absolute scratch.

And knitting, I really want to try that.
