Where do you get inspiration?

Just wondering where everyone else gets their inspiration for crafts and diys from Happy I need some more sources Happy

Haha my inspiration?? It just comes in my mind ....but these days I look into some projects and twist it a little to make it unique and give a twang

One of my favorites, is going to the mall or something and looking around at what people are actually wearing, less so what's on the shelves. When I see those people who make me say to myself "What happened there?" I try to figure out how to improve it.
I can pull inspiration out of anywhere.

The local Library,we have an online catalogue which is awesome

The projects here are easy to access and very varied..
I also visit lots of Artist's homes and gallery exhibits

This site, random "I'm feeling lucky"'s from Google, random blogs, deviantART... Oh, and things I want. Like.. if there's an adorable japan import Pikachu doll on Amazon that I really want, but the price tag makes me feel dizzy, I just study it and make it myself for hardly a fraction of the price, haha. Oh, and I also use things I need for inspiration. If my trashcan were to break, for example, I would make another one, maybe a cereal box one or a magazine roll one. And then of course there are just the random "Hey, I should make *insert item here*" moments. Those are probably the best, since they're completely original and just spur-of-the-moment. If you look hard enough, though, you can find inspiration anywhere and everywhere =)

From my friends!It sound weird I know... Happy

But my friends are funny and they have alot of personality!!!We have alot of imagination and when we are together it's always amazing...we are always in weird situations LOL

So make things they can wear or inspire by them... or make projects that brings back memories
or something we have lived together inspire me alot!

I shop ebay in the vintage section and collect pictures of great vintage details and clothes I love. I also browse google images, read the message boards and see what other's are looking for and I flip through pinterest (although very little inspiration comes from there).

My inspiration comes from mainly magazines. I will see a necklace or a centerpiece i just have to have and i will make it with my own twist.
