Need help ASAP with goggle lenses.

I bought these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002DLYR8A/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

to make into steampunk goggles for my plague doctor costume, however....I want the lenses to be red, like these:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/91854224/darkwear-clothing-gold-mad-scientist?ref=usr_faveitems

what is a cheap way to make the lens red and still be able to see through it, like making it a translucent red?

I really have no idea if you can buy like a red plastic to cut into circles to cover it, or what to do. Paint obviously won't work.

thank you for any help or ideas!

Clear red acetate! You can get it at certain art supply stores by the roll or sheet, depending. It's used in making the red/blue 3D glasses.
Alternately, you could use a clear paint or ink on transparency paper.

that is what my husband suggested! haha but I have no idea if any of the craft stores here have it or where to even look. We have an ac moore, michaels and a hobby lobby....i would call and ask, but everytime I try that, no one answers or they don't know, haha.

I just ordered a pair pf lenses last night.
