Where there's an iron, there's a WHAT?

Okay, so I rescued a vintage-ish iron, which doesn't work. It has a few steam holes on the front, but not many. I want to make it into something, but I'm not sure what. If you have any ideas of anything, and I mean ANYTHING I could make with it, I'm very open. The only idea I had was to use the steam holes to hold my earrings, but there are only ten or so, and I feel like that would be a waste when I have so much more iron to work with. So really, just shoot your ideas at me.

Sand it, prime it, and paint it creatively:

Book ends...
Door stopper...
A sculpture...

I like the book ends idea. Especially if you paint it a pretty vintage blue color.

Yeah a door stop sounds kool. I was maybe thinking a candle holder but I dunno how you would do that.
You could put kebab skewers in the holes and hang jewerly off it.
