I spend most of my time wishing I was Japanese, not just because of their culture but the girls are sooo cute!

yeh they always have perfect skin and nice hair! The Japanese (or maybe chinese I'm not sure) people I saw in Florence all looked lovely even without make up! And yeh you see little japanese school girls on tv when there's some sort of celebration going on all in rows and they all look the same and omg I want japanese babies.

I don't care I'm officially wapanese! (a white person who wants to be japanese) lol

p.s. omg my snail is a featured project so haaaappy.

well if you look at the instructions you'll see that I cheated and just sewed it all together, I don't think I'll ever be able to knit in 3d!

Yeh the chinese one is in china town, i've actually never even been to the china town, i get easily fed up when I go shopping espeically in Manchester. The Japanese one is somewhere else not sure where that is. I went to the Trafford Centre today, there are some shops in there that I haven't been too before but I only had money to get nice interview clothes (which i did plus nail varnish and blusher and pore strips lol i got mental when i have money), again easily fed up but the clothes I got are ace. OH and i got some socks, the little ones that only go around your feet like pumps, one pair has anchors, the other pairs have stripes!

I love Japan too, we get a lot of Asian tourists in our hotel and the Japanese girls/women always have such amazing skin Happy and such cute bags haha
I can't wait to go there, but until I do I will just have to make do with jbox.com.
My boyfriend bought me another box of sweeties and some furikake from there and I just tried the matcha green tea chocolate, so tasty!

I've never had green tea, my mum thinks i won't like it though, Japan has the largest number of smokers but the least amount of lung cancer because of green tea, they still get cancer but not as much as other countries. Only recently have I learnt that the word sushi refers to the rice not raw fish which most people think and I told my dad about it and he never knew either. We went past the sushi bar but I didn't think to actually go (the fed up about shopping thing is the reason) and it seems a bit indimidating when you have to wait for what you want to come round on the belt and stuff and I've never had it so. In the japanese shop they sell sushi making kits!!!! Happy

Green tea tastes fine. It smells like smoked fish, but tastes just fine.

I love green tea. I got some lovely blends from this online tea store called adagio.com. Some of it does smell pretty stinky alright.
I so agree with the Japanese being big smokers, but I think the Chinese smoke even more! It's disgusting!! We go into their rooms and it's like a fog!! Them and the Icelanders are the worst smoking offenders in non smoking rooms grrrr

I don't like the fish sushi. We went to a proper sushi bar in Paris and I ate some kind of fried fish bites and some veggie sushi, it was cool but I was pretty intimidated by it all, but I think they all go on the same policy of coloured plates, equals a certain price, so you just keep your plates and show them at the end Happy
There are 2 sushi bars here in the city and one Japanese restaurant but we have yet to go there as it's super duper expensive!

Ohh I wish I was Japanese too, it's just so much cooler. I want to dress like the FRUiTS books, eat sushi and pocky, drink bubble tea, take purikura photos for my scrapbook, wear Vivienne Westwood and play with Hello Kitty all day... that would be a dream life.
