Most recently it would have to be this....

A cartoonist wrote me and asked to make one of his characters into a stuffed plushie. And when he saw it and told me how much he loved it, I had the most overwhelming sense of relief and accomplishment. Happy

Im most proud of the bread and butterfly i made for the alice swap i was in. Only because i made the pattern for it myself and it was all handsewn.

Of everything I've ever made, I'm most proud of two things:
First is the wings I made for my little girl, which are posted as a how-to. Those in the pic are the first pair I made(the prototype), then I made 3 more pair, which look a lot better. But, as with most of my projects, even if the later ones are better looking, my favorite is usually the original. Burgundy thread showing, and all.
My second favorite, most proud of project, is a 'scent pot' I made, in high school. The assignment(in mineral clay class) was to make a vessel. We were given 3 types to choose from, and we were given leave to make them look however we wanted, as long as they met the requirements. Mine was shaped like a sack of magic beans, with beans spilling out of the opening. I made a secret stopper, which looked like more beans, and when it was pulled out, there was a little hole, with another bean at the center. My teacher liked it so much, she put it in the town's high school art show(various kinds of sculpture, and paintings)! It didn't win anything, but just the fact that she submitted it....that made me feel awesome. I've always been the kid in the figurative outfield, picking flowers and watching butterflies, instead of paying attention to the game. Not much of a winner. But to be noticed, once in a while...very nice. No wonder I like CO+K so much!!!
