I have sooo many books! If you like making plush then i recommend anything by Aranzi Aronzo. I believe it's Japanese, you can buy translated. They are just really cute things and the books kinda funny the way it describes making the dolls and everything.

We have a great regional library. So I get though loads .I'm still working with Art Quilt Workbook by Jane Davila & Elin Waterson is actually really good on the language of art and techniques but not a beginners book ! Could probably keep me going for ages will post projects completed

I have a book called alternacrafts which I love, it has various ideas in there, I also like my subversive cross-stitch book because its easy to follow but its also a little bit different to the other ones I've seen....
I find crafts beautiful magazine pretty good for random ideas as well, thats if you're not into just the one craft....

Japanese plushies very cool.I picked up a book on up-cycling pillowcase for less $2 in the B&N sale ! My best book bargain of the year so far.I was given a load of vintage bedding from a hawaii condo so am going to have fun !

Depends on what you want to craft, I've seen some on Amazon that have the potential for making good dresses...
