Silver cutlery jewellery

This is one of my 12 crafts to do this year.. Has anyone ever tried this or know anything about it?

All I know is I need to get my hands on a metal mallet...

Tips? Comments.. anything?

I second the interest in that... I'd love to make some rings or bracelets

I want to give that a go too. I can't be bothered to go and buy any special tools though, we've got a shed full of junk so I'll probably find some sort of hammer/mallet in there. Or if I can't, my boyfriend's a builder and so is his dad, so I'm sure they've got something I can use haha.
I need to go on a hunt round charity shops for some nice cutlery first though.

I'll have a look for some tutorials later on, and if I find any I'll post them here Happy

That would be awesome, I see alot of cutlery in the thrift shops and would be interested in trying something too.

if your cutlery is flexible enough you can just bend them with your hands. ;)

I cant say Ive tried it, but I bought a bracelet made from an old fork 7 years ago. I love it and still wear it. Its totally a great idea, if you can figure out the materials, totally do it!
