DIY "extreme" day costume ideas?

There's an "extreme" day that I'm going to. The idea is super hero, villian, movie star, rock star, hippie, ext. I am having trouble for quick, simple, cheap costumes that can be come in a couple of days. I've thought of Catwoman, L (from Death Note), maybe Scar from Lion King if I can think of more of a costume. Anyway, I am really leaning for a villian of some sort.
