Skirt Pattern Help!! "Mullet Skirt"

I've got some lovely material that Ive decided I want to make a skirt with. I like the ones which are longer at the back and short at the front - I think they're called Mullet skirts but don't quote me on it. Thing is, I can't find a pattern - how would I go about making my own, or does anyone know of a pattern I could use?? xx

depending on the skirt shape you want i would make a basic pattern for it, maybe a circe skirt or even a pencil skirt, and cut off the fabric at the front in a curve downwards to the back. or you can attach a flounce around the hem that is long at the back and turns smaller at the front?

on the site there is a tute for a 'burlesque bustle skirt' i'm sure you could adapt this for a mullet skirt.
(btw they are called mullet skirts (= )

I was looking for the same thing and then I found this

I'm not very fond of the flower pattern but it helped me to get an idea.

you have to go through a few links to get to it but it starts from there. seems pretty simple to me!

There's a cute Lisette pattern for a sun dress with mullet skirt. I love Lisette patterns, they're so great to work with. McCall's also has a skirt pattern.
