Making Your Own Clothing (Clothes Tutorials)

When I was a little younger I used to watch 'That's so Raven!' on Disney Channel. If anyone doesn't know it, she made almost all of her own clothing.
I thought to myself, 'When I'm her age I want to be able to say 'I made it myself' about a lot of my clothes.'

So does anyone have any offsite, or onsite tutorials for clothes they love?
Or even projects that you think would be easily recreateable?

Here's a few I want to try out:

This skirt is really easy to make people-sized, and it was the first thing clothing-wise I ever sewed, pattern or not: http://www.dana-made-it.com/2009/07/market-skirt-tutorial.html
I'm also wearing it now!

I also have these in my favorites:

I found them with stumbleupon under the category "sewing". You should try that out imo!

You can figure out how make a lot of things by just examining clothes that you already have. If you're feeling brave, you could always rip the clothes by the seams and make a pattern based off of the pieces.

Oh and I'm pretty sure that Raven Symone doesn't actually make her own clothing, that was just her character. And I thought it was cool too because when that show was popular I got into fitting my own clothes!

There are loads of tutorials on the site, I've still got so many I want to try. The 4 clothing items I've made were made with patterns that I bought.
