My favorite cupcake is a plain vanilla base with pineapple preserves filling and a pina colada icing. Yum!

I've always been a fan of buttercream frosting, but I like the stuff that goes on German chocolate cakes.

I'm not one for fancy designs... If I'm making cupcakes for someone's birthday, I'll use icing to write one letter on every cupcake until I have spelled out what I wanted to.
