I currently have 2/3 (I say that because two will eventually be joined to one)

The two that will be joined are a pink spider with butterfly wings, and a deep blue bird of paradise which are both on my chest and represent this song:

I also have a black and grey pair of doctor marten's on my outer thigh for my grandfather.

Definitely intending on getting more when I can afford them! Something super nerdy next, I'm thinking something legend of zelda related, but I don't want something horribly obvious.

I have 5 tattoos ....tho u would probably consider them more then that bc they are big. lol You can see some of them in my projects from modeling. lol
I have 2 tatts of song lyrics on my arms.
My right fingers all have bones tattooed on the sides (extremely excruciatingly painful!).
"Z?" from "Johnny the homicidal maniac" tatted behind my ear.
And a Huge vegetarian vegetable side-piece on my left side.

...planning on getting my chest-piece next month! SOOO excited!
Im going to be a tattoo artist & have been studying it myself for yrs now ...so im gonna probably have a tattoo-body-suit at some point! lmao (but true)
YES A&D is one the worst things u can put on a tatt...actually any "tattoo helper" ointment is bad. Bc if it has petroleum in it, it draws out the ink. The only thing u should ever put on it is plain old lotion (preferably frangrance/color free like "curel" brand). & lotion & Sunblock when its healed (sun can fade it also).

@Vicky Ninja: I fucking love your spider!!! Happy So amazed.

I understand not being able to find a decent artist too. Its a pain in the ass. The shop i like most is 3-4 hrs away, & i hate it. Theres lots of shotty artists around here that put out awful work (& they WAY over charge!!)...yet people keep going to them. Its the customers fault i guess if theyre that stupid. :/ If u want a good artist, u have to search. Look at portfolios a lot & shops (u can tell a lot by how a shops decorated & how clean it is). Never settle for mediocre work. A good piercer is even harder to find, bc they dont have portfolios >.<
My favorite tattoo artist is Mike Devries ...i think he lives in california? But his color work is amazing. & his portraits are Mind-blowing. lol

Thanks guys Happy
Adding to the conversation about what to put on tattoos I was told by my artist to rub bepanthen on them, which is a brand of nappy rash cream (although he did say that any nappy cream would work) and they've stayed bright and beautiful even though they were out in the sun a bit during healing.

My favorite tattooist is Travis Litke, he's a friend of mine through another friend I've had for a decade. He's in Indiana which is about a 9 hour drive from me. I really want to take a long weekend to drive there and have him tat me up some time... Maybe when I go home to PA in the summer I'll stop there. He does really amazing work.

As for tattoo aftercare, I developed my own tattoo balm out of natural stuff I have around for soapmaking. I haven't gotten to try it out on a tattoo of my own yet, but I did use some in a pinch for lip balm and it was amazing! The other people who have used it have liked it a lot. I'm hoping I'll get to use what I made for myself some time this spring or summer.

I'm a tattooist and I tell all my clients to use Bepanthen 2 to 3 times a day for 2 to 3 weeks, don't soak and submerge in water whilst healing and don't pick and scratch at the scab, also don't get sunburnt. The sunburn part is a life thing the more your tattoo gets burnt to quicker it will age and fade.

I have so many tattoos I have lost count lol including the start of my sleeve Happy

We live and breath tattoos in our house my husband is covered, I'm covered and my two year old daughter wishes she was cover (picture attached lol) and I'm sure when my son is old enough to know what a tattoo is he would want to be covered to lol

My first, inspired by Pablo Picasso. I have the word "inspire" on my left shoulder and on Jan 20 I am getting the vitruvian man (if you don't know what it is, google it) on my back. <3ink

I have two. I have firstborn written in hebrew on my lower back (think tramp stamp region) and a stylised swan on my right foot.

I have plans for a cartoon ish side piece, the hebrew word for three on my left bicep and the rebel alliance badge on my right hip (maybe).
