Should i dye my hair?

i feel like i need a change...i dyed it at the beginning of the summer to a reddish blonde that was very close to my natural colour, so the red faded and i was blah again...i want to be different person for my junior year in secondary school!..i have also dyed the underside of my hair pink and i loved it (even though it was supposed to be purple lol). So should i dye it pink? or red? or should i go brunette??? what should i do??

Do something that other people wouldn't expect you to do. I dyed my hair bright colors from 6th grade all the way through my freshman year in college. No one ever knew what to expect.

Maybe your hair doesn't need a different color but a different cut.

I agree with Monika, maybe it just needs a cut, add some texture to your hair maybe?

i am going to get more layers and trim my bangs a bit, but i dont ever want to go short again. i have a round face and the short cut just makes me look awful Tongue and i want to grow my hair out...i have always wanted long hair lol.

you could get extensions,
either permanent ones that have to be taken out or temp ones that u can dye different colours and the colour stays because u dont wash them.

i have come to the decision of hennaing my hair. It will come out a sort of a coppery/auburn hopefully and doesn't have chemicals so my hair wont be damaged Happy yay! perhaps i will put up a tutorial. Thanks for all the advice i will definitely be getting a bit of a trim and some layering done as well Happy

Just a warning about Henna. I lot of permanent dyes have a notice saying you should not dye hair that has previously been dyed with henna. I mean, I've done it and it was fine but may not be fine with others, anyway that is just in case you think you may want to dye it again later. Henna is really good for your hair though! You'll have to post a pic so we can see what it looks like Happy

Theres already a henna hair dye how-to on here ...somewhere. lol

I love dying my hair. After High School (where i couldnt have dyed hair) i went crazy and dyed my hair every color of the rainbow. I'm obsessed now. My natural colors brown, but i bleached it underneath to put colors on the underside. Right now it has red & purple in it.
I cant cut my hair short either (for the same reason). I looked really stupid when it was. lol So now its real long, cut in very severe layers (kinda choppy) and i love it. And it looks even better when it grows out. I havnt had to cut it in 3 yrs.
Hope it works out for you.
