it was longer, but I cut it

lol I actually have the first image saved as a possible short hair style if I ever decided to cut my hair off again (I tend to make those choices on a whim and my boyfriend can't understand why I'm never going to stop chaning my hair).

I think however for the most part all of those hair cuts are the same- its just a matter of styling. That's one thing I learned when I had short hair- it all mattered in how I styled it.

I always change my hair, its never been super long for long

I don't see why not!! If you don't like it, it'll always go back. I like the first and last one best!!

I wish I had more courage with my hair. I'm trying to grow mine atm and the colour is awful, where it was bleached for the purple (the purple came out) then coloured brown (which has come out) and then red (which has become a diluted light brown) my hair is a mixture of blonde streaks & light brown - halfway down - and my natural colour on the top half!!

So I might as well leave my hair to grow whilst I wait for the colour to come out.

whichever you pick make sure that the stylist goes shorter in the back or thins it out so you can style it. If it's too heavy or long its next to impossible to style.

I personally love short hair and I wish I could go very short but I have a round face and people with round faces shouldn't go any shorter than their chin/shoulders. My motto is if you can do it then why not? Think of how nice it will feel to cut all that hair off and not having to spend tons of time styling it. It's so freeing! LOL now I want to cut my hair...

Ahh, the first one is sooo cute! I think your facial structure could pull it off, as well.

The time I chopped my hair was... such a liberating experience. (Of course, I had other things going on at that time as well, but still, it was a HUGE deal for me.) That was at the end of 2006, and I've just grown it back to a length that I now consider "long." It's a little below my shoulder-blades (originally it was to my waist, so you know....). Now to get tools to style it the way I want! xD

I say do it since you can, like Lo. It's hair! It will grow back!

oh Lo if only that were true! I spent more time styling my hair when it was short than I do with it long. But it does feel like you've lost 3 pounds when you cut it off.
