scar treatment...

i wasn't sure if this belonged in this category, or the beauty one...so sorry if this seems out of place.

i got a piercing that resulted in two pea sized keloid scars, and i've read that silicone sheeting is one of the best, at home remedies for this type of scaring, problem is, i don't know where to find it now that Neosporin got rid of their version of this treatment. Any suggestions? similar brands? or stores that would sell a similar product as Nesporin Scar Solution? any thoughts are welcomed. Thank you :]

Hi Chelsearaye. Keloid scars are formed as a result of the body over healing. I nursed a girl who had keloid scarring following burns. You may be better off seeing a dermatology/plastic surgery specialist if there are issues of pigmentation loss in the area of the scar that could become worse if not treated properly. I have had a look at what is available on line (link below) but I would suggest getting a professional consultation Happy
