I've started dyeing my eyelashes and don't have that dilemma any more:]
The kits are cheaper than a decent mascara and last about a year, it's really easy to do. Just gotta remember to put vaseline around your eyelids to avoid the panda look lol

also mascara needs to be thrown out every 6 months, bacteria grows in it. Well all makeup is like that, brushes need to be cleaned, makeup needs to be thrown out after a year or so

You should take off mascara before you go to bed as leaving it on too long will make it harder to come off and can make your lashes dry and brittle so they break and you have rubbish eyelashes. But I say this knowing that tonight I won't take it off. In fact I hardly ever take it off at night, even though I know I should.

hey hun
i didnt have the patenice the read the above, so im just giving you my advice on how to take off mascara
ive heard the eye removing chemicals are VERY harsh for your eyes
so a natural alternative would be Extra Virgin Olive Oil
and i swear to you
your pores will NOT get clogged
and its VERY VERY VERRRYY good for your skin
i carry a mini bottle with me all the time, and its great!
just be careful withitnot getting in your eyes, it doesnt sting, but your vision just get a bit blurry untill u rinse with water for a bit!!
hope this helps!

I'd agree with everyone else - remove mascara b4 bed (if you remember). I personally find if I don't I look like an extra from a horror film and it makes it look like your bags are worse. its also a real pain to get off the next day and I don't think putting fresh mascara over the top can be good for your eyes. I use aqueous cream to get my makeup off and that even works with waterproof mascara.

Yes you should. I went to bed once without taking it off, I've never had an eye infection, though I have heard about the possibility. However it definatly gets smudged on your pillow... gosh it took about 2 or 3 washes to get out!!

definitely should >_< i've heard of people's eyelashes falling out because of being too careless with them D: thats frightening!

To be honest, I hardly ever remove my make-up before going to bed. After all these years I haven't had any problems with it.
Plus, I kinda like the smudged look the next day, after cleaning it up a bit. Usually I just add some mascara the next day.
It eventually gets washed off.

As for the pillow case, I only have dark and paterned ones, so even if it did get on there, it would hardly be noticeable.

I'm a person who doesn't worry about problems before they present themselves, so until then I'll continue my lazy ways Happy
