My favourite recipe i have made is deffinately a zesty lemon sponge! I normally fail at baking by burning the bottom of cakes, but the first time i tried making this, i nailed it right away! Fortunately, i still love baking, and i dont give up! Happy x

I love to bake when I can, and anything from the 'Humming Bird Bakery' is amazing. I just made a gorgeous chocolate chunk and pecan pie. With a wisp of cream it is to die for.

I adore baking, but I'm not a fan of dry sponges so I favour heavier, denser cakes such as honey cake, or Jamie Oliver's victoria sponge which has a higher proportion of egg to make it moister Happy
The next cake I'm going to try out is from Leon, a fig and red wine sponge that's also got honey and lots of spices in it, sounds delicious!

I love any brownie recipe as they are always so easy and always staisfy a chocolate fix. I also love primrose bakery cup cake recipes as they aleays produce delicious 'professional tasting' apparently ( according to friends and family) cakes.

I don't know if this counts as baking...but I made the best and easiest ice cream EVER the other day!!! All you do is take 5 ripe bananas, slice them into disks, freeze them overnight and then chuck in a blender with either nutella or peanut butter and voila - amazing ice cream!!!

There are so many! But my current, tasty favourite is Chai Cake, it's DELICIOUS and you can alter the recipe to suit your mood. Always excellent with a massive mug of tea on a rainy day.
