Everyone nowadays seems to spend a lot of time discussing how we can be "greener" I say we just roller skate everywhere! These girls are leading the way to a better tomorrow. Unless we invent those hoverboards from back to the future...

There are actually TWO things I love about rollerderby, and those are the vivacious and luscious beards sported by The London Rollergirl announcers Big Cat Merv & Splint Eastwood. Mmmmm, beards.

I would love tickets for Roll Britannia, because no matter how hard I try, I am still rubbish at roller blading! I think it would be safer for the rest of London if I was able to watch Scottish teams skating in London, rather than let London watch one Scottish girl skating into literally everything in London!!!

There are so many things to choose from! I would say the thing I LOVE the most is the diversity. No group or individual is excluded in the world of roller derby regardless of ability, gender, age, ethnicity, creed, nationality, sexuality or political orientation.

There are punk girls, goth girls, lawyers, teachers, dancers, nurses, tattoo artists, big girls, small girls, young girls, mature women... you name it roller derby has it!

As a result the girls are super accepting, tolerant, fair and well rounded in nature (despite the nature of the game played lol). In a world where intolerance often presides, this alone is something that should be celebrated!

One thing? ONE THING? The thrills, the spills, there's so much to choose from ... but in the end I'd have to say its seeing girls that can really kick ass, its such a change from the meek celebrity stereotypes we're all used to seeing!
