Come on a #CraftRoomTour and see Manayin's Craft Room in Toulouse, France.

I love that this space is bright ! I usually choose to put a lot of white in my decoration, especially if the room is a little dark. This way, the room looks more bright and clean.

Tell us about your space

This room is my work space, as well as my craft space. It is not so big, but I had the place to put a sofa behind the desk. In fact, originally I had a wooden board put on two trestles to do my desk, but I must admit that I quickly ran out of space to store my stuff. Since then, someone gave me a desk that was going to be thrown away, white and in very good condition ! I kept the two desks and now I have a lot of space to work.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I chose a bright decoration with touches of colors. To motivate myself, I decided to put on my desk some DIYs I realised, and some beautiful cards that I've had for a while now.

How do you keep organized?

To stay organized, I have shelves hidden under the desk where I can store folders, for example. It's convenient because we do not see them. Then, every thing has its place. I have a box for my stamps, one for the notebooks and stickers... I also bought and created several pencil pots. It was an opportunity to create DIYs !

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

Well, I especially need to store my pencils, markers and pens. So far, I have bought and created several pen holders, and I try to store them by category of pens or pencils. Otherwise, I use boxes that match my decoration.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

My favourite possessions are my candles and, of course, my postcards ! I think they make such a great decoration. I actually created a postcard, this is the one with beach cabins (which is available on my blog). My others creations are : the 2 customized kraft notebooks, the 3 wooden pen holders, the cherry poster, the little moodboard, and a DIY perfume.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I have a perfect thing for that : my bullet journal ! This is where I organise my whole life, and of course my inspirations and ideas. I have special pages for that. But I still can write my ideas everywhere if I don't have my bullet journal with me (on my phone, often!).

Where do you look for inspiration?

Like a lot of people, I think, I love to go on Pinterest. But most of the time, these are the little things in my life that keep inspiring me. Seasons, nature, my home...

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

Well, I would ask for an unlimited budget, so that I can buy a lot of candles and decoration !
Then, I would ask for more light in this room. It can be a little dark sometimes, which is not a great motivation for work.
Finally, I would love to have a chair that is more adapted to my desk. The one that I have isn't perfect at all !
