My kitchen is where I spend most of my day, so for me, it is essential to have natural light and a lot of counter space. My island is 8' x 4' which creates a beautiful center stage for my meals and my kitchen is filled with natural light

It feels like part of the house, but since it's the garage I can get messy and leave the mess right there till I can work again.

We chat with Erin, give you a chance to win the book and learn how to make a Travel Photo Album, Pillowcase Dream Journal and Sewing Notions Pincushion Book.

Hello! I am a graphic designer and bookbinder who loves to create things and also enjoys teaching others. I first learned how to bind books while studying graphic design. The hands-on aspect of creating books caught my interest right from the start. I experimented with combining traditional binding techniques with recycled and repurposed materials. Eventually I started an Etsy shop to help thin out my growing collection of handmade books. After making hundreds of books, I thought that it would be fun to teach others how to make books too. I created a kit to teach four traditional Japanese stab bindings which eventually became the springboard for At Home with Handmade Books.

I love all the light and the vaulted ceiling. When I want to snap a few photos of a fresh batch of cookies or a piece of pie, I have plenty of natural light to set up a photo shoot on the kitchen island. It's such a bright welcoming space, and whenever we have friends and family here, everyone wants to gather in the kitchen.

Come behind the scenes at CreativeIngrid for a #CraftRoomTour and see Ingrid's London studio.

I love that it is completely white with a wooden floor and this gives it the feeling of a white canvas. It is almost a perfect square where I can move things around easily and adjust it to my needs.

We chat to Tracey, give you a chance to win the book and learn how-to crochet a flower blanket.

I'm a fifty something lifelong crocheter and knitter. I live in Cheshire and when I'm not crocheting I can usually be found in the garden, weeding my veg plot or in the kitchen baking cakes to share with my knitting group.

Jiji studied illustration at the Academy of Art in foggy San Francisco and graduated with a BFA. She currently resides in her sunny hometown of Las Vegas. Her body of work features an arsenal of chic sassy characters, fantasy/macabre themes, and above all a sense of body positivity. Jiji’s roots began in the worlds of Japanese graphic novels, but they have since expanded to adapt the tastes of art nouveau, minimalism, and the power of negative space and what it can lend itself to. She is inspired by modern day artists like Babs Tarr, Audrey Kawasaki, and Lois van Baarle and classic masters such as Alphonse Mucha and Romain de Tirtoff.
