Learn how-to cook Courgette Flowers in #ABiteToEat with Terroirs in East Dulwich, London

How did you get started?

Terroirs East Dulwich opened in late October 2017, following the step of our sister restaurant Terroirs on 5 William IV Street in Covent Garden, which as been serving natural wine and food for 10 years now. Based on a French bistro style, our main focus has always been to serve homemade and seasonal food, paired with wines produced with respect of the environment from small growers.

Where are you located?

We are based in South London, in East Dulwich.

What are your specialities?

Following seasonal products we change our menu regularly, inspired by Mediterranean flavours and including a range of small and larger plates to be shared. Some of our specialities are homemade duck rillettes & pork and pistachio terrine, which you can found all year long on our menu.

What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?

One of our favourite on the summer menu is the stuffed courgette flowers & tomato coulis.

What's on the stereo?

That's a tough questions! Just like our wines, our musical taste are very eclectic. We can start the day with reggae, follow with some jazz from lunch and finish the evening with indie rock or obscure French bands, depending on which one of our team member is in charge of the music that day.

Where else should we visit in your area?

We are on the very lively main road, Lordship Lane, full of independent business and great restaurant. Our top pick would be Next Door, a restaurant attached to a fishmonger. You can also go and say hi to our friends from Mons, cheesemonger that supplies some of our cheeses.

Do you host any special events?

Yes we do! Going from supper clubs, cheese or wine tastings, live music and kids cooking classes, we always have something happening, on Wednesday evenings mainly. Check out our website for the upcoming events!

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?

Opened Tuesday to Sunday, for breakfast, lunch & dinner, we are more than just a restaurant. Our site is separated in 2 rooms, one of which is a wine shop that you can hire for private parties or tastings.

Do you have a favorite cafe, restaurant or bar in your town that we should feature? Send us a message!
