Come behind the scenes at CSLdesigns for a #CraftRoomTour and see Christina's craft room in her lounge.

I love that I feel comfortable and happy.

Tell us about your space

My craft room is also my lounge. I sit on the sofa and do all my work as it is the only space available to me. I either use the coffee table or cushtops if I need a hard surface to work on.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I have done my best to keep my materials and tools as organised as possible, as I feel it is important for creativity and productivity. And also because it is our lounge.

How do you keep organized?

I use a variety of different drawers, plastic tubs, storage racks and bags to keep everything organised.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

I find that organising my materials so they are neat and out of the way but still easily accessible for when I need it works the best for me.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

Some of the jewellery I make I keep for myself and I store it in glass boxes and on bracelet racks.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I have a folder where I keep my sketches and designs ideas. I also use older pieces I have made as inspiration for new ones, and I store them in some Ikea bins where I can easily access them.

Where do you look for inspiration?

Often the materials and techniques themselves give inspiration for the designs. I also use older designs as inspiration for new designs.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

I would love a dedicated work room, where I can have everything set up permanently instead of having to constantly move things around depending what I am doing.
