Come behind the scenes at Our Lives With Bella for a #CraftRoomTour and see Pam's writing space in New York City.

My favorite thing is that my creativity and writing space is very comfortable, cozy and provides a lot of warmth.

Tell us about your space

It is definitely not a big room, NYC's apartments are small and you definitely have to get creative with the space. My creativity and writing space is also my bedroom, so I had to get rid of a few things in order to make it work. I also share my bedroom with my 3 year old Bella, so I also needed to get creative and make sure there was space for her things.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I moved back to NYC 10 months ago and my space is still a work in progress. I had to get rid of some old stuff that were in my room in order to make room for my 9 cube storage organizer, which I find so useful and cute! To make my space inspiring and cozy I have played around with pastels colors for my room. I try to keep everything organize and clean. I also try to not have a lot of things out, I have my craft materials in my closet and some stored in my 9 cube storage organizer. Some of my DIYs and crafts are part of my room decor and I love how everything works together.

How do you keep organized?

I make sure to keep the space organize and tidy everyday. Since this is not only my Home office/craft room, it is also my bedroom and my daughter's space I need to make sure that everything is put away when I am done using it.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

Storage containers, preferably ones that are not clear and things are not just easily visible. Utilize the space under your bed also by putting your things in containers that fit under the bed. That has saved me a lot of space, I usually keep my daughters toys in containers under the bed and it works perfect!

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

Yes absolutely! I made a DIY garland that hangs in the wall next to my bed and I love it! I also made a DIY wall art that hangs in the wall, right above my 9 cube storage organizer and I also use my Holiday Mason jars, I created around the holidays. Inside I keep little things like beeswax and different oil blends that use for my beauty DIY projects.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I write it down on my planner or notebook whenever I get an idea for a project. Even if it is not something I will work on right away, I still write it down to refer to it at a later time.

Where do you look for inspiration?

Pinterest, Instagram or magazines. Also on TV, I am obsessed with HGTV and house renovations. I get a lot of ideas for craft projects by watching Fixer Upper, The Property Brothers and Love it or listed.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

Um...well I think one wish would be to have a creativity and writing space that is not my bedroom. My second wish would be that the space was actually a studio so that I could have a couch and a TV. My Third wish would be a kitchen, because I also create food recipes for my blog. So a studio would be my dream space :-)
