Come behind the scenes at Deedoe Design for a #CraftRoomTour and see Jacklyn's studio in the Philippines.

My favourite thing about the studio is my puppy!

Tell us about your space

It's a small room where I draw and paint as well as fulfill orders for Deedoe Design, my stationary business.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I've kept the walls all white and clean to make the space seem bigger than it is. Using my artwork and art materials as the color in the room.

How do you keep organized?

I stay organized by having designated spaces for specific jobs. All computer/admin related tasks are on the big desk. All creative work gets down on the table by the window so I have a lot of light while I work. It's also where there is the most open storage so all my art supplies are on display and with in reach. Then a separate area for packing orders and storing stocks.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

See what works for you and just go within. For example, although it's tidier to keep things in drawers I find that if I don't see it, I won't use it. So instead of hiding away the things I use to create I organize them to double as room decor.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

All my favorite pieces are on display through out the room but by far my favorite is having my puppy curled up at my feet while I work.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I mounted some old storage shelves on my wall and use that to display work or mood boards.

Where do you look for inspiration?

I like to see what I have and how I can reuse things.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

I wish I had a skylight, better ventilation (cause the space can get quite hot in the summer) and a better chair for rolling around between workstations haha!
