Come behind the scenes at Studio Katie for a #CraftRoomTour and see Katie's craft space.

The windows above my desk! They let in so much light, which is great for working by and taking photos.

Tell us about your space

My studio space is also my bedroom! My bed is in the back half of the room and the rest of the space is filled with my supplies.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I find that when I can see my supplies I feel more inspired to use them, so I have a big shelf on my wall to hold my paints. I also love having things organized by color!

How do you keep organized?

Every morning when I head into my studio, the first thing I do is put on some music and clean off my desk, and straighten up from the previous day. I can't create unless atleast my desk is cleared off.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

Find what works for you! Having all of my supplies out can look a bit messy at times, but I love being able to see my supplies.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

I love my paints and markers, they're the supplies I use the most and they make me so happy to see.
I have a small inspiration wall next to my computer where I hang up some of my extra pieces as well as pieces my friends have sent me.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I have many notebooks I keep to fill with my ideas!

Where do you look for inspiration?

I often save ideas or quotes on pinterest or instagram whenever I find them, so then when I need an idea, I'll scroll through my saved collections to get a boost of inspiration.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

It would be separate from my bedroom so that I have just a little bit more space.

I would have many more shelves to spread my supplies out a bit so they weren't so cluttered.

And I would love to have even more windows, but one wall to paint a big mural on.
