Learn how-to cook Ackee & Saltfish in #ABiteToEat with Three Little Birds in Brixton, London.

How did you get started?

Three Little Birds is a Jamaican inspired Cafe, Restaurant & Rum Bar bringing the vibe of one of the world’s greatest islands to London town. Founded by former Miss Jamaica Universe, April Jackson, in Brixton in 2015, after her stint on BBC’s Apprentice we have since been voted one of London’s best Caribbean hot spots.

Where are you located?

Brixton - 412 Coldharbour Lane, SW9 8LF
Clapham Junction - 42 Battersea Rise, SW11 1EE

What are your specialities?

Small Sharing Plates with a twist.
Such as Codfish Fritters, Jerk Chicken tacos, or Curry Goat.
We love serving brunch over the weekends. This includes unlimited prosecco, banana pancakes with caramelised bananas and rum sauce, or you can try our most traditional dish called the ‘Jamaican Breakfast’, consisting of Jamaica’s National Dish
- ackee and saltfish.

What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?

Personally it would have to be our Big Bird Burger.
This is served up on a red bun with minced chicken meat, and our home made pepper jelly sauce. As seen on Channel 4 `Sunday Brunch' back in August 2018

What's on the stereo?

We have a collection of all sorts, from smooth RnB
to classic reggae hits.

Where else should we visit in your area?

In Brixton there is so much to choose from but at the moment I recommend POP Brixton, which is an outdoor street market.

Do you host any special events?

We host events throughout the year, from birthday parties, to small and intermediate live music and dinner evenings.
Coming up to the Christmas period we have a a lot of Christmas parties which is always good fun.

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?
