Pirates had been in story books from my childhood but when Pirates of the Caribbean series came out the Boom from the cannons could be heard around the world. Pirates were everywhere. Halloween and Renaissance fairs were full of them but Now you can go to Bars or just walk downtown and see people enjoying this look. I think a Party based on Pirates should be on every "Speak like a Pirate Day" September 19th. What could be more fun than having Drinks with the skulls of your enemies laying around.

My favorite part is definitely the wall of fabric. That is where all the quilts start so it's full of possibilities. My other favorite thing is hidden behind the door next to the fabric. It is a built in sewing table that is original to the house! It is covered in fifty years of contact paper, but I hope to restore it soon. When I bought the house, there were a lot of jokes about buying the most expensive sewing table ever.

I was looking for a certain craft project (I can't remember what it was now...) & I fell onto CO&K...I loved a lot of the projects on here so joined up
What projects are you currently working on?
As I mentioned before, my latest projects are canvases using mixed media. They have motivational quotes on them which helps with my depression & anxiety. It is also a positive visual for my kids which I feel can only be a good thing...
